Welcome to Safe Hands, a product of Terainz Healthcare! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Safe Hands website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting.

2. Description of Service

Safe Hands is a digital health platform designed to facilitate coordinated healthcare for users in Nigeria. It connects users with licensed healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and laboratory services, through AI-powered matching and a team-based care model. Safe Hands does not provide emergency medical services. If you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service:

  • In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
  • To impersonate or attempt to impersonate Safe Hands, a Safe Hands employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
  • To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service, or which, as determined by us, may harm Safe Hands or users of the Service.

The medical advice provided through the Service is based on the information you provide. It is not a substitute for in-person medical evaluation or emergency care.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by Terainz Healthcare, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NEITHER SAFE HANDS NOR ANY PERSON ASSOCIATED WITH SAFE HANDS MAKES ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPLETENESS, SECURITY, RELIABILITY, QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE. HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS USING THE PLATFORM ARE INDEPENDENT PRACTITIONERS AND NOT EMPLOYEES OF SAFE HANDS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SAFE HANDS, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, OR DIRECTORS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
